Award for Quality Website

Prizes were awarded for the best quality websites for small and medium-sized companies in industry, commerce, crafts and services. About 200 companies have applied for the prize of best Hessian site that was awarded on Tuesday in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Frankfurt am Main. Participation was open to companies with up to 250 employees that do not exceed an annual turnover of 50 million €.

The Hessian Website Award is jointly organized by the three centers of excellence for electronic commerce Hessian BIEG Hesse, EC-M casting and ECCN Kassel. “The price of Internet sites with an attractive design features and allowing entrepreneurs who know how to use their websites as a marketing tool. At the same time the Award is to highlight the importance of a carefully crafted web presence and source of inspiration to others, “said Daniel Weichert, Technical Manager, BIEG Hesse.

First prize in the Visa and qualified Award, the company Delta Bike Sports GmbH in Giessen at the same time for the finals of the nationwide NEG Website Awards, to take all the state winners. The prize is endowed with 9,000 euros and is awarded in June 2011 in the World Cultural Heritage Site.
